America’s Forgotten Black History
Like many of you, I only knew a scant amount of black history – slaves were brought over, freedom came in the Civil War, and full voting rights only came in the Civil Rights Act of 1965, due in much part to the heroic efforts of Martin Luther King, Jr. However, American Christian historian David Barton has continued to open our eyes in the last few years to so much of our history that has been hidden, including black history.
